TEACHERS
Sarah Max Mackenzie
Artistic Director and Founder of Tilt Performing Academy. Sarah grew up, from the age of 3, dancing at the Conroy Dance Centre in Brisbane, Australia. She attended Conroy Performing Arts College in 2011 – mid 2012, one of Australia’s most highly esteemed Performing Arts institutions. In mid 2012, Sarah travelled to Hong Kong to teach at Glenda Allan Dance Academy. In 2013, she came to Singapore and has been teaching dance to date. Sarah holds her Teachers Diploma from ComDance in Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tapping. She also has an extensive teaching background in Contemporary, Lyrical, Song and Dance, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Acrobatics. Sarah has trained children for exams, competitions, and performances as well as mentored many students for their own teaching qualifications. Her aim in teaching is to educate as many children about the art of performing and nurture their love of dance with the most up to date and current teaching methods and creative choreography!
Kimmie Cumming
Kimmie previously danced with Dance Company Nanine Linning where she performed and toured in Germany and The Netherlands. Prior to that, she was also involved as a project Dancer with Singapore dance company, T.H.E Dance Company as well as T.H.E second company.
After completing her dance training at School of the Arts Singapore, Kimmie went on to further her dance studies in ballet and contemporary at the prestigious Taipei National University of the Arts in Taiwan (TNUA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance. While at TNUA, Kimmie performed works such as ‘Cursive’ and ‘Legacy’ by Lin Hwai-Min, the former artistic director of Cloud Gate Dance Theater as well as the work entitled ‘Wall’ by current artist director of Cloud Gate Dance Theater, Cheng Tsung-lung. Kimmie is excited to work together with the students on reaching their full potential in dance!
Pek Yue Ling
Yue Ling started dancing at the age of 8 at Attitude Performing Arts Studio. She was a competitive dancer and received many awards throughout her years as an amateur performer. She has travelled overseas and trained with a variety of dance companies. She is in the midst of completing a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Dance at Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts, yet has returned to Singapore awaiting the reopening of the boarders to Australia. She is excited to have the opportunity whilst here in Singapore to share the knowledge she has acquired form her studies all around the world!
Aiden Tan
Aiden is a passionate instructor that enjoys teaching classes. He was an awardee of the National Arts Council scholarship for his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Taipei National University of the Arts, Taiwan. He had completed his Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Examination up to Advanced Foundation with the Singapore Ballet Academy. Being a professional performer locally and internationally, he had worked with The Human Expression Second Dance Company Singapore and Focus Dance Company Taiwan. As a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise, Aiden combines dance and sports science into his training and classes.
Edna Low
Edna is a recent graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She started her dance journey at the age of 3, doing ballet at Dancepointe Academy. Over the years, she had opportunities to travel overseas to places such as London and Barcelona for dance competitions and immersion programmes. At the age of 15, she decided to pursue dance professionally and enrolled into City Ballet Academy and later Luminous Dance Academy where she could learn ballet under reputable teachers such as Xia Hai Ying and Bertrand Berena. She enrolled into Nanyang at 17 to pursue dance as a full time dance student and have since worked with many different choreographers and teachers such as Rosa Park, Ezekiel Olivera, Hwa Wei An and many others. After graduating she had the opportunity to dance in National Day Parade and currently is a freelance performer and dance teacher.

Clarissa
Clarissa’s yoga journey was initially that of self-healing. What began as a way to stretch and heal her stiff and tired body from martial arts training has evolved to an essential daily practice which rejuvenated her body, mind and soul. After embarking on her yoga teacher training, it further strengthened her belief that yoga compliments, and is essential to our modern lifestyles. Clarissa seeks to empower her students and inspire them to practice love through their yoga not just on their mats but in their daily lives. Clarissa is also an ACE personal trainer, a HIIT certified trainer and is an RYT200 teacher registered with Yoga Alliance.
